Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work.

• Email address — required. It is how we send your welcome after a purchase, service notices, and our replies when you write to us. The alerts themselves are sent by text.
• Mobile phone number — optional, and only if you enter one. It is used to send the text alerts you consented to receive.
• Your SMS consent record — if you tick the consent box, we store that you ticked it, the date and time, the exact consent wording shown to you, and the page you submitted from. This record is our evidence that you opted in, and it is kept for as long as you are subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards.
• Fantasy league details you give us — optional. If you paste your ESPN league ID and pick your team, we store those so your alerts narrow to the players on your roster. Your ESPN league has to be public and we never ask for your ESPN password. Leave the fields blank and your alerts stay league-wide.
• How you heard about us — optional, one line, if you fill that field in. We use it to know which channels are worth our money.
• Basic technical data — IP address and browser user agent at the moment you submit the form, kept with the consent record, plus standard server logs.

2. What we do with it

• Send the injury and lineup alerts you signed up for.
• Send confirmations, service notices and billing messages if you subscribe.
• Answer you when you contact support.
• Keep proof of consent, honour opt-outs, and meet our legal obligations.

We advertise the service on Google Search and Reddit, and we measure whether those ads work. To do that, this site can load Google Ads conversion measurement and a Reddit conversion pixel (and possibly a Meta pixel later). These tags receive three kinds of event and nothing else: that a page was viewed, that someone started the $19 checkout, and that a purchase was completed, with the order amount and an order reference. They never receive your phone number, your email address, your SMS consent record, or the content of any message we send you.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles of our own, and we do not sell it. Three safeguards apply to the measurement tags:

• Global Privacy Control is honoured. If your browser sends the GPC signal, the advertising tags do not load at all, on any page. Nothing is sent to Google or Reddit.
• Google Restricted Data Processing is on. We ask Google to handle the conversion data it receives from this site under restricted data processing, which limits what Google may do with it.
• You can opt out by email. Send the words “Do Not Sell or Share” to support@fantasyfootballalerts.com. We will record the request, keep you out of any audience or customer list we might ever give to an advertising platform, and show you how to switch on Global Privacy Control so the tags never load in your browser. See section 5.

3. Who we share it with

We never sell, rent or share your phone number or your consent for marketing. We share the minimum necessary with service providers who process data strictly on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes:

• Messaging providers — the telecommunications platform and mobile carriers that physically deliver your text messages, and our email delivery provider.
• Hosting and infrastructure — the providers that host this site, store form submissions, run our scheduled jobs and our automation.
• Payment processing — Stripe, if you buy the $19 season pass. We do not store your card details.

Separately, the advertising measurement tags described in section 2 send conversion events to Google and Reddit. Those companies use that data under their own privacy policies, which is why sections 2 and 5 give you ways to opt out. No phone number, email address, consent record or message content is ever part of what they receive.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If the business is ever sold or merged, your information could transfer with it; your SMS consent would not be treated as transferable for a different company’s marketing, and you would be told before anything changed.

4. Text messages and your consent

SMS consent is given by ticking an unticked box next to the phone field on our signup form. The box is never pre-ticked, and giving a number without ticking the box does not sign you up for texts. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel; the opt-out is honoured immediately and we will not text that number again unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help. Full messaging terms are in our Terms.

We do not buy, rent or import phone lists. Every number we hold was typed into our own form by the person who owns it.

5. Your choices

• Stop the texts — reply STOP to any message, or email us.
• Stop the emails — use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
• See, correct or delete your data — email us and we will action it. We may need to keep a minimal record of an opt-out so that we do not text you again by mistake.
• Opt out of advertising measurement: switch on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email us the words “Do Not Sell or Share”. Details in section 2.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. The advertising measurement described in section 2 may count as “sharing” for cross-context advertising under some of those laws, so you have two ways to opt out: switch on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we treat as a valid opt-out request, or email the words “Do Not Sell or Share” to the address below. Exercise any of these rights by emailing us; we will not treat you differently for doing so.

6. Keeping it safe

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small precisely so there is less to lose.

7. Children

This service is for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies

Cookies and local storage that we set ourselves are strictly necessary to make the site work. Beyond that, two kinds of third-party tag can set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:

• Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which we use to understand how the site is used and where it breaks. Google Analytics also receives page-loading speed and visual-stability measurements for the page you are on (how long the largest element took to appear, how much the layout moved, how quickly it responded to your first interaction). These are timings about our own pages, they contain nothing personal, and they are not sent when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal.
• Advertising measurement: Google Ads conversion measurement and the Reddit conversion pixel described in section 2, and possibly a Meta pixel later. They exist to tell us whether an ad led to a page view, a checkout or a purchase. They do not load when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal.

You can also block or clear these cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle your phone number or your consent will be notified to you directly.
